Mini Prep & Skills Class: Cooking with Eggs

US$25.00

February 10th, 10am - 11am EST (Recording Provided to All Registrants - Access for 14 Days After the Session Ends)

Theme: Cooking with Eggs (because they are SO versatile and nutrient powerhouses!)

Eggs are SUCH a versatile ingredient and boast a depth of nutritional value to help us feel energized and bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed (even in the groggiest of mornings). In this class, we'll prepare three recipes that use eggs in different ways. In each recipe, the eggs bring both protein and healthy fats as well as key vitamins - vitamin A, B12, B6, and more...

The Menu...

—> Protein oatmeal with strawberries (featuring egg whites specifically)

—> Lentil Marinara "Shakshuka" (my current new obsession for a savoury breakfast)

—> Egg Muffins (make it your way)

Additional Cooking Demos…

—> Scrambled eggs (light and fluffy!)

—> Boiled eggs (cooking for runny, “jammy”, and hard cooked)

Skills We'll Be Focussing On...

—> How to use egg whites to create a creamy texture and add protein to sweet recipes

—> How to poach eggs in sauces for extra richness

—> How to bake with eggs using your favourite ingredients for an easy batch-cooked morning meal or snack

—> PLUS, how to scramble and boil eggs to your liking

**Options for substitutions in each recipe are available. Simply email me your dietary restrictions and I will suggest an alternative option for you to prepare.

While this is an egg-focussed class, there are protein substitutions that can be used in place of eggs in both the protein oatmeal and the lentil marinara recipes. Reach out for more details.
